Dinner is presented by Addamo Catering. The delicious menu is:

  • Chicken Sorrento: Tender skinless, boneless chicken breast filet sauteed in a lemon-butter-white wine sauce, topped with imported smoked ham and melted buffalo mozzarella cheese.
  • Rice Pilaf: Tender steamed rice pilaf including assorted chopped vegetables.
  • Ensalata Mona Lisa: Mixed field greens tossed with mandarin orange segments and a sweetened balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
  • Assorted rolls & butter

A Wine Bar (cash only-NO credit cards) will also be available hosted by Daveste Vineyards - a proud LKNO sponsor!

Spring in the Vineyard

Harvest Serenade

Davesté Vineyards Wine and Music Event. The event is from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2011. Bring a lawnchair as the event will be outdoors.

$15 cash at the gate (Ages 21 and up), ticket includes one glass of wine in a souvenir glass and a donation to the Lake Norman Orchestra's fundraising efforts. $10 (Ages 16-20), ticket includes entertainment and donation only. Free Admission (Ages 15 and under...no ticket issued).

2011 Charlotte Rosary (Marian) Congress Concert

We are honored to have been invited to perform at a concert at the opening of the 2011 Charlotte Rosary Congress being hosted by St. Joseph's Catholic Church. This two-day event is being held at the Cabarrus Arena in Concord. The concert will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 30. Click here for more information about the entire event. (August 22, 2011)

July 3 Summer Celebration

The Lowe's YMCA is once again hosting a wonderful free event for families on Sunday, July 3 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. The orchestra will be performing a variety of pieces celebrating our country at 7:00 p.m. At 8:45, we'll be joined by a community choir for our final two patriotic pieces. An Evening at Davesté Vineyards

On Saturday, May 21, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Lake Norman Orchestra will perform at Davesté Vineyards in Troutman. The admission fee of $10 per adult will be payable at the gate; children are free. The evening will include music, wine tasting, and a complimentary wine glass. (May 3, 2011)

Lake Norman Orchestra presents “A Springtime Bouquet," with musical selections from well-known composers such as Wagner, Sibelius, Strauss and Leonard Bernstein. The concert will be Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at the Charles Mack Citizen Center in downtown Mooresville. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students. (April 12, 2011)

Holiday Concerts

The Lake Norman Orchestra is pleased to announce that we will be spreading holiday cheer at TWO concerts this year. We will continue our tradition of performing at Mooresville High School at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11. In addition, the Iredell Arts Council has invited us to play a holiday concert at Shearer Hall at Mitchell Community College in Statesville on December 18. Tickets will be available at the door and on this site in the near future. (November 10, 2010)

An Evening with the Romantics

The Lake Norman Orchestra will perform at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 18, at the Mac Gray Auditorium at Statesville High School. The program will feature pieces from the Classical and Romantic periods, including the first movement of Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 and the prelude of Wagner's Die Meistersinger. We'll also play more recent pieces with a romantic feel such as "Memory" from the musical Cats and "An American Rhapsody" by Richard Meyer. (August 17, 2010)

Percussionists needed

The Lake Norman Orchestra is seeking percussionists. Our repertoire ranges from classical to movie medleys to big band medleys. Our next rehearsal is Monday, July 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Peninsula Baptist Church in Mooresville. Feel free to visit and/or contact our Membership Coordinator if you have questions. (July 19, 2010)

Going Classical!

Our outdoor concerts typically include music from the movies, Broadway, and other popular sources. For our September 18 concert at the Mac Gray Auditorium at Statesville High School we are working on several classical pieces: Beethoven, Wagner, etc. Make plans to come hear something different!
